Jasmine Michelle Jewett

Jasmine Michelle Jewett, age 49, passed away at UnityPoint Health - Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, on July 8, 1977, Jasmine was the daughter of James Allen Jewett and Denise Dianne Bumpus. She completed her high school education and dedicated her career to caring for others as a nursing assistant, working with Health Gauge for seven years.

A lifelong resident of Des Moines, Jasmine found joy in her community and her family.

Jasmine is survived by her mother, Denise Jewett; her brother, Mark Valentine Jr.; her daughter, Skylar Shakia Star Jewett; and her grandchildren, Kash Hunter and Kyrie Hunter. As well as, her extended family; aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Simplify Cremations & Funerals, with burial to take place at Glendale Cemetery.
