Janet Carol (Griffiths) Harmon, 87, of Des Moines passed away on December 12, 2025.

She was born on January 4, 1938, to Max Griffiths and Hazel (Griffiths) Daniels of Des Moines, Iowa.

Janet is survived by her children, Teri (Dennis) Struble, Ron (Sheron), Matt and Michelle, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and many more family members.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ron.

Services are being held at Simplify Cremations and Funerals, 4821 SW 9th St. Des Moines, IA. There will be a visitation on January 2, 2026 from 11am-1pm with a service following.

Janet will be laid to rest at Berwick Cemetery at a later date.
