Ingrid Leatrice Jenkins

Ingrid Leatrice Jenkins, 82, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on May 11, 2026, at Altoona Nursing Home & Rehabilitation.

Ingrid was born on November 8, 1943, in Des Moines, Iowa. She lived a life centered, serving Yeshua, loving family, hard work, and quiet strength. She attended DMACC and spent many years working in banking, including employment with Crocker National Bank and Greyhound Bus Lines.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Ingrid was deeply loved by her family and friends. She was known for her caring spirit, wisdom, and the steady support she gave to those around her throughout her life.

Ingrid is survived by her son Tracy Cook and daughter, Donya Jenkins-Gai, along with many extended family members and loved ones who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Christopher and Eula Mae Robinson, son Terrance Cook as well as some beloved brothers and sisters.

Ingrid will be remembered for her strength, grace, and the love she shared so freely with others.

Services will be Sunday, May 24th at 5pm at Revival Center Church.
