Howard Cummings

Howard "Oscar" Cummings' passed on January 31st, 2025, in Iowa, at the age of 74. Born October 3rd, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, Oscar lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and adventure.

Oscar is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Cummings, and his children: Jeremy, Timmy, Nick, and Rose. He was preceded in death by his son, Howie and grandson, Ryan. He leaves behind a large and loving family, including numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom will profoundly miss his presence. The family finds comfort in knowing the profound impact he had on their lives.

Together with Judy, Oscar founded Cummings Commercial Services in 2006, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to hard work. They grew a fulfilling life in Chesterfield, Virginia. He frequently assisted his daughter at her restaurant, Wild Rose Cafe. His infectious personality there brightened the room. He possessed a remarkable ability to connect with people, leaving a trail of smiles with every customer he encountered.

While his passing leaves a void in our hearts, we can celebrate the beautiful life he lived. His memory will serve as a constant reminder of the power of kindness and generosity to those who knew him.
