Henryk Glazor

Henryk Marian Glazor, 73, of Urbandale, IA, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2024, at his home.

Henryk was born on May 3, 1951, to Henryk and Francziszka (Bilas) Glazor in Krakow, Poland. He lived there until 1984 when he moved to Iowa, seeking a better life for his family and to escape communism.

An avid vegetable gardener, Henryk took great pride in his garden and enjoyed traveling back to Poland to visit. He was known for his social nature, and was often found enjoying time with friends and coworkers. Above all, Henryk treasured his family, particularly his grandsons.

He is survived by his wife Ewa Glazor; daughter Eva Palimore and her husband Bobby Palimore; two grandsons, Kamari and Quadree Palimore; and two brothers, Andrej and Marek Glazor.

Henryk was preceded in death by his parents.

Per Henryk's wishes, he has been cremated and private family services will be conducted at a future date.
