Edward Birmingham

Ed was born July 9, 1963, on the USAFB in Karamesel Turkey where his parents were stationed. He moved back to Des Moines with his mother, Bonnie(Campbell)and sister Tina(Brown).

Ed lost his battle with Neuroendocrine cancer on November 26, 2024. He was at home surrounded by his family.

Ed is survived by his wife, Linda (Bintz) Birmingham, his three daughters Ryan Paulsen and her husband Keegan of Rochester MN. Alyx Snyder and her husband Tyler of El Paso TX. Jaime Merritt and her husband Dom of Seattle, WA. His three step children Casey Graen and her husband Michael of Van Meter, IA. Taylor Smuck of Ankeny, IA and Cartet Smuck of Winterset, IA. His three grand children Skadi Paulsen, Reece Snyder and Clara Graen.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ron and Bonnie Birmingham, twin brothers Richy and Randy Brimingham and neice Amber Birmingham.

Services will be Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 10 am at Prairie Ridge Church in Ankeny, IA.
