Earl Kenneth Gragg

Kenny Gragg was born on Sept. 1st, 1960, to Joanna and Lee Roy Gragg Sr. They lived in Newton until 1977 and then moved to Des Moines. Kenny graduated from East High School, in Des Moines. He went on to work in the healthcare field doing many different jobs as a CNA, Dietary Aide, and Dietary Manager. He also worked in retail at Pamida as a retail associate.

On Nov. 21st, 1995, he was united in marriage to Rhonda Jones of Lorimor, IA. From this union he had three children, daughter Cassandra, and 2 sons Jacob & Solomon. Kenny had many enjoyments in life some were Nascar, WWE & WWF, Fishing, Camping, Football (the Dallas Cowboys was his favorite), spending time with his grandchildren and the word of God. He was a devoted member to the Waypoint Pentecostal Church in Perry, IA.

On March 18th, 2025 Kenny passed away at Dallas County Hospital. He is preceded in Death by his parents Joanna & Lee Gragg, Stepmother Sharon Gragg, 7 siblings, granddaughter Barbara (Annie) Chaney, niece Lacie Jo Gragg and many aunts & uncles & cousins.

Those left to honor Kenny's memory are his daughter; Cassandra (Shawn) Chaney of Norwalk, Sons; Jacob (BreaAnna) Gragg of Norwalk, Solomon Gragg of Indianola, Brothers; Terry (Kristy) Coady of Newton, Travis (Ardis) Coady of Newton. 2 grandchildren; Nathyn Chaney & Jocelyn Gragg, Nephew; Jeremy (Lacie) Gragg of Newton and their children Kaiya, Jazlyn, Rayna, Lydia, Hunter Gragg and many other relatives and close friends.
