Donna Mae Walther

Donna Walther, 88, passed away on March 7, 2026, in Des Moines, IA.

Donna Walther was born on March 2, 1938 in Des Moines, IA, to William and Ramona Wardrip.Donna enjoyed reading and traveling. She was proud to show off her spoons from all 50 states. She was a 50+ year member of the Order of Eastern Star and was Grand Chaplain for the state of Iowa in 2008. She also enjoyed singing, playing the Ukulele and the recorder. She loved helping others and took care of her friends at Wesley on Grand. In 1974, she became a Campfire Girl leader and started the first group in Renwick, IA and was active in the Hiawatha Council for about 8 years. She spent many hours driving girls back and forth for Campfire activities in the Ft Dodge area. Donna was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Nevada, IA and later the Renwick United Methodist Church. She was also a proud supporter of the Drake Bulldogs.
