Donald Raeford

Donald Lee Raeford age 78 of Des Moines died on June 21, 2025.

He was born in Mullins, SC on May 19, 1947 to Harrington and Jeanette Raeford. He attended school at the College of Automation (COA) from 1965-1967. Donald also served with the Iowa National Guard from 1968-1978. He worked in IT for many years until retirement in 2011.

Donald is survived by his wife, Linda Raeford. Son, Donnie Raeford. Sister, Belle (Charles) Reaves from Marion, SC. Brother, Wayne Raeford from Mullins, SC. Nephew, Reginald Ford from Des Moines, IA. Five grand children, five great grandchildren, and many extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
