Donald Houghton

Donald "Donnie" James Houghton, age 60, of Hartford, Iowa, passed away on January 25, 2026. He was born on November 8, 1965.

Donnie is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Houghton; his father, Leo Houghton; and his children, Amber (Curtis) Glenn, Toby (Samantha) Houghton, Ashley (Victor) Houghton, Jennifer (Justin) Cossman, Ashley (Joey) Edler, Justin (Kendra) Ramer, Lucy (Keanu) King, Tristan Houghton, Tanner Houghton, and Layla Houghton. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and his brothers-in-law, Rick (Angie) Ramer, Danny (Dori) Ramer, and Zach (Whitney) Ramer.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Houghton; his brother, Ricky Houghton; and his grandson, Justin Jr. Ramer.

Donnie worked in maintenance for over 20 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley, camping with his family, attending races, faithfully cheering on the Dallas Cowboys-win or lose, and loved listening to Elvis Presley.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
