Dennis Norman Bambrough

Dennis Norman Bambrough passed away on December 23, 2023, at his home in Pleasant Hill, IA, he was 77 years old. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Pennie Carroll & Associates at 3232 Hubbell Ave, Des Moines, IA.

Dennis was born on December 6, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Joseph and Eileen Bambrough. His career spanned several fields, including owning his own Auto Service Center,

Record Store, and Carlil LLC. He also worked as a Field Rep for AAA Auto Club, and Superintendent of Des Moines Public Schools Bus Garage. Dennis' hobbies included buying and selling on eBay, going to the casino, travelling, and swimming in his backyard pool.

On December 15, 1998, he married Amber Bambrough in Niagara Falls, NY. In January of 2000 they moved to Des Moines, IA from Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada. He became an American Citizen in 2009.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 25 years, Amber Bambrough, his 5 daughters: Sheri Bambrough; Denise (Robert) Johnston, Teresa (Dave) Graham, Amy (Dave) Hauge, Angela (Robert) Hochmuth; 9 grandchildren: David, Briana, Cindy (Nick), Garrett, Allie, Jessica, Kelly (Dylan), Grant (Alexandra), Kendra and 7 great grandchildren: Carson, Lillian, Mia, Vivian, Leora, Maisey, Aubrey. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents Joseph & Eileen Bambrough, his brother Brian Bambrough.
