Denise Lynn Sullivan

Denise Lynn Sullivan (Senecaut) passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday February 4th, 2024 at the age of 63.

She is survived by her siblings, Ronald Senecaut and Sherry Harrison of Des Moines and Dana (Alan) Kochheiser of Omaha, Ne,  Her daughters Danielle (Dave) Lyons of Des Moines and Jenae Finney (Tony Miller) of Manilla and her Grandchildren Andrew Lyons, Olivia Miller and Delilah Miller. She is preceded in death by her husband Gary Sullivan, her parents  Ronald Senecaut Sr and Sharon Senecaut,  and her grandson Warren Miller.

She was born in Des Moines, IA on April 26th, 1960. She was a 1978 graduate of Southeast Polk High School. Denise had many different jobs over the years but the one she was most fond of was being a Mother and Mema. She would always be the one to watch her grand babies anytime there was an opportunity. They were truly her heart and soul. Other hobbies included cooking (she was the best cook) hanging out with her sister and best friend Sherry, hunting for morel mushrooms (she would hunt until she found something!) fishing, going to the Casino, and countless nights watching Ghost Adventures or Crime Shows with her daughter. She had the biggest heart and the best personality, with the most contagious laugh. She will truly be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She always reminded her children to put God first and if hard times faced you, pray.

The family invites you to join in a memorial service at Adventure Life Church in Altoona, IA February 10th at 1:00 pm with a luncheon to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Denise's life. Memorial contributions can be made directly to the family.
