Delmar Leo Christensen

Delmar Leo Christensen was born October 14, 1942 to his parents Leo and Virginia Christiansen (Shaver) Delmar passed away peacefully on May 4th,2024 surrounded by loved ones.

Delmar had a great sense of humor. Was great at his work fixing and selling used appliances. He owned and operated Christensen Used Appliances for many years.

Delmar was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a well known resident of the south side of Des Moines.

Delmar is survived by his wife of 27 years Pamela Christensen. His children Lisa Tungett (Tim), Mindy Froah (Frank), Amy Kirgis (Mike), Caleb Christensen, and Tracy Richards (Tommy).

His Grand Children Cassondra (Derek), Cory (Jenna), Henry, Luke, Laura (Justin), Lexi and soon to be 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents,grandparents, an infant brother and several Aunts and Uncles.

Services will be Friday May 24th,2024 at the

Carlisle Community Center

35 Vine St Carlisle,Ia 50047

With visitation from 6 to 7 pm

Service at 7 pm

There will be Dessert following the service.
