Debbie Sue Willis, age 65, of Carlisle, passed away on August 27, 2026.
Debbie was born on March 19, 1961, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Gene Irwin and Maxine Joanne (Hilterbrand) Trumbo. She grew up in Carlisle and later went to school for nursing, working as a Nurse's Assistant for many years.
On June 26, 1992, Debbie was married to David D. Willis in Des Moines, Iowa, and together they enjoyed over 30 years of marriage.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David; sons, Donald Butterfield and Chris Butterfield; and sisters, Juanita White and Jody Kelley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Lawrance Gene (Larry) Trumbo.
