David Roger Gedney

David Roger Gedney passed away on July 14, 2025, at Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. A time of sharing and remembrance will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Simplify Cremations and Funerals Chapel, 4821 SW 9th Street, Des Moines.

David was born on June 19, 1955, to Roger and Barbara Gedney. He was the proud owner and operator of Green Acres Landscaping, where he dedicated much of his life to the craft he loved. Landscaping was not just a career for David-it was his passion and pride.

He found joy in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. David's warmth and dedication touched the lives of many.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Bryan) Clower of Tulare, California; his beloved grandchildren, Lynzie, Olivia, Rocky, and Jack; and his mother, Barbara Gedney. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Gedney.

David will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
