David Scott Fillbach

David Fillbach age 62 of Des Moines died on June 29, 2025.

He was born on September 12, 1962 to Robert and Mary Fillbach in Omaha, NE. He attended school at Omaha NW High School and took some classes at Metro Tech Community College in Omaha. David retired from Firestone after working there for 15 years. He loved watching any kind of sports, but especially enjoyed watching Nebraska play. In his younger years he was an avid bowler, and their house growing up was always the place to hang out.

David is survived by partner, Doreen Andrew; siblings, Bart (Evie) Fillbach, Brad (Cindy) Fillbach, Jerry (Peggy) Fillbach and Ann (Dennis) Jones. Many nieces, nephews, a great nephew, and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Simplify Cremations and Funerals, 4821 SW 9th Street, Des Moines. A visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
