Darlene Walker

Darlene Louise Walker (Teeny), 80, of Des Moines passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2024, surrounded by her family. The sun rose and the world welcomed Darlene on June 10th, 1943. She was born to William and Dorothy Parmenter, and welcomed home by older sister, Emma. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino with her family. Darlene lived a full and warm life, She was a warrior, and a very strong woman. She will forever be missed and always remembered.

Darlene was predeceased in death by her parents; sister Emma; daughter Leanna; and two great-great grandkids. She is survived by daughters Ronda and Darla of Des Moines; step-son Jimmy; Grandkids and Great Great Grandkids: Tameeca, Candace, DeMarco, Sherre, Roshonda, Quanisha, Jaqueja, Chaveon, Novaeh, Kar'Dair, Javion, and many more.

No services will take place, but we do appreciate your love and support during this difficult time.
