Danny Ray Neubauer

Danny Ray Neubauer, 69, of West Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on September 15, 2026. He was born on November 7, 1956, in Mason City, Iowa. Danny attended Iowa State University, where he completed some college coursework.

Danny was self-employed throughout much of his working life, spending an impressive 53 years working for himself. His many years of self-employment reflected a lifetime of independence, hard work, and dedication.

Danny was the son of Jack Neubauer and Marlene Heuton.

He is survived by his siblings, Kandy (Pat) Fay, Lonnie Neubauer, Tonya (Steve) Bock, Rhonda (Matt) Conner, and Robin (Jason) Olberding. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marty Neubauer; sibling Lori Neubauer; great niece Kinley Hanson; several beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Danny will be remembered for the life he built through decades of hard work and for the relationships he shared with his family and those who knew him. His memory will live on through his surviving siblings and the many people whose lives crossed paths with his throughout his 69 years.

Danny will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. A private service will be held at a later time.
