Cynthia Jean Thompson

Cynthia Jean Thompson, 69, passed away August 20, 2024 at Methodist Medical Center.

Cynthia was born April 17, 1955 in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Harry and Yvonne Smith. She loved spending time with her children and grandkids. Cynthia was a flight attendant, her dream job, and she loved it until she retired. She enjoyed travelling and was very crafty. She always had an idea or thought she could do anything she put her mind to. Cynthia was open minded and tried not to judge people. She just knew everything would work out and she lived her life to the fullest. Cynthia fought a hard health battle for 10 years and was a rockstar through it all.

Cynthia is survived by her children, Elijah Ford and Whitney Ford; grandchildren, Uriah, Kaden, Cooper and Kendall Ford; sisters, Janet Munzenmaier and Harriet Kemp and many friends and family. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Harry Smith III, Ellen Smith and Kendall J Smith.
