Carol Nelson

Carol Nelson was born October 7, 1958 in Des Moines, Iowa. She was the oldest of four children to Rosalie Blom-Negrete. On May 8, 2023 she departed from this life to be with the Lord and other family members who had passed away

Family and laughter were very important to Carol. If you were her friend, she would do anything for you. She loved having quality time and interacting with her many nieces and nephews. Carol loved jewelry and would be there helping decorate your home. Her favorite color was purple and her favorite animal was an owl.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Manuel and Louise Negrete; aunt Louise Aike; uncles Albert, Charles and Richard Negrete; sister Teresa Ramsbotto; nephew Brandon Poore, niece Brooklyn Petithory and daughter Wahkeena Knight.

Those left to cherish her memory include her best friend of 30 years, significate other, Willard Knight; mother Rosalie Blom-Negrete; brother Doug Blom; sister DeeDee Negrete and many nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
