Brett Allan Farr

Brett Allan Farr, age 54, passed away in his home in Des Moines, Iowa on September 27, 2023. He worked in roofing and construction for more than 30 years before passing.

Brett loved playing the guitar, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle that loved playing Scooby Doo with his niece.  He is survived by his mother, Nancy Leumpert, brother Chad (Tricia) Hart of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and his sisters Kelley (Eric) Johnson and Addison Redmond, of Cedar Rapids.  He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins and many friends, including his special friend Kim Fencl.

He is preceded in death by his Step Father, Fred Leumpert and his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at the Wapsipinicon Country Club in Anamosa, Iowa on Sunday, October 22nd from 1 until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Cedar Valley Humane Society website.
