Brandon Allen Mitchell

Des Moines-Brandon A. Mitchell, 36, Died Unexpectedly January 24, 2025 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on March 17, 1988, in Corona California, The son of Sandee Hehmann-Gallegos. Brandon completed his GED in 2008.

Brandon was predeceased by Jeff and Tina Scheffers, his uncle and aunt. Surviving in addition to his mother Sandee Hehmann-Gallegos (Ricardo) are his sisters Sarah Mitchell (Matthew Bramer), Kaycee Mitchell, Lindsee Mitchell. His brother Garett Mitchell as well as his children, Emma Mitchell, Trenton Mitchell, Brandon Mitchell Jr, Landon Mitchell, Trinity Mitchell, Chloe Mitchell and Bellah Mitchell. His Aunt Terra Saylor (Greg). His Cousins Justin Scheffers, Tyler (Jess) Scheffers, Johnathan Scheffers, Samantha Dowd (Nathan) and Matthew Saylor (Kelsey).

Brandons hobbies included spending time with his kids, family and his friends, working on cars, listening to music (Loudly), fishing, and riding his motorcycle (Very Fast) Burnouts were his favorite. Brandon had a huge heart and was very compassionate. One would even say he wore his heart on his sleeve. He loved helping people however and whenever he could. He also enjoyed teaching anyone willing to learn how to work on cars. He loved spending what time he did with his kids. His favorite thing to do was ride his motorcycle because that is one of the only times he ever felt happy and truly free. Even in his lowest moments Brandon would do anything to make someone else smile. He will be truly missed.

A service of remembrance will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday February 7th at Simplify Cremations and Funerals, 4821 SW 9th St. Des Moines Iowa 50315. Following Brandon's Celebration of Life at 1:00 P.M. Interment

will be at Oakwood Cemetery 1308 Columbus St. Pella,  Iowa 50219. In lieu of flowers Brandon's family would ask that any money donated will go into a trust for his children in their time of need and grief.
