Brandon Matthew Barnhart

Brandon Matthew Barnhart passed away on Friday November 3,2023.

Brandon was born June 12, 1995 in Des Moines, IA at Mercy Hospital. The youngest of three children and the only Son born to Christina and Jackie Barnhart.

Brandon grew up on the Southside of Des Moines, Attended  Park Ave elementary before moving on to Brody Middle school and Lincoln High school. He was known to be the class clown and went out of his way to make sure everyone had a smile on their face. Even at an early age Brandon was a born comedian putting on skits at his Grandma Mary's house for the family's entertainment. He was often called the next Chris Farley by his parents. His impersonations were always the highlight of any social event.

Brandon also was a proud Christian and was Baptized at Park Ave Christian Church and was a member for many years and enjoyed going to vacation bible study for many summers of his youth. Brandon's hobbies included cooking, drawing, and enjoying music.  Although these hobbies soon took a backseat to his addiction. He had his ups and down with his demons. He was able to find Peace for a short time when he moved to Pella, Iowa. There he excelled at Casey general store as a sales clerk and was able to go Florida for the first time for a vacation.

Although Brandon has lost his fight with his addiction he is still remembered by his many friends and family.

Brandon is preceded in death by his Mother Christina Barnhart, Grandparents Mary Davis, David Davis, Jackie Barhart I, Jennifer Jergens.

He is survived by his sons Tayden Matthew Barnhart and Lex Matthew Barnhart, his Father, Jackie Barnhart, his sisters Kathryne and Johnna Davis. And his extended family Aunt Julie Davis, Uncle Stephen Soltis, Aunt Trisha Barnhart, Aunt Becky Barnhart. His cousins Valerie, Skylar, Sarah, Roger, Patrick, Nathan, Derick, Austin, Junior, Sonny. And his Niece Averi. And many more family and friends.
