Bonita Ann Fleming

Bonita Ann Fleming, 75, of Nevada, Iowa, passed away on April 23, 2026, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.

Bonita was born on February 2, 1951. She was a lifelong Iowan who valued family, simplicity, and the comforts of home. A graduate of Maxwell High School, she dedicated many years of her life working in clerical roles with General Financial Services, where she was known for her reliability and steady work ethic.

She found joy in life's quiet moments. Bonita loved crocheting, watching movies, and most of all, spending time with her family. Gatherings with her siblings, nieces, and nephews were especially meaningful to her, and she cherished those connections deeply.

Bonita is survived by her siblings: Donna Borton, Rodger Cummings, Karla Merten, Steven Cummings, Victoria King, and Letia Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Fleming and Mildred (Hadding) Cummings and siblings Virginia Cummings and Robert Cummings Jr.

Bonita will be remembered for her gentle nature, her love of family, and the simple joys she embraced throughout her life.
