Billy Joe Ragan, age 70, of Indianola, Iowa, passed away on August 8, 2026.
Billy was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on November 27, 1955 to Bobby Joe and Dorothy Lu (Laws) Ragen.
He served in the US Army, and spent may years working for the United States Postal Service.
On May 14, 1983, Billy was married to Sheryl (Sheri) Downey in Des Moines and they had two children, Michaellyn and Carrie.
Billy is survived by his wife, Sheri Ragan; daughters, Michaellyn Ragan and Carrie (Alex) Ragan; and sister, Kim.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
