Barbara Jean Toney

Barbara Jean Toney, 82, passed away at home December 7, 2024. A private family committal service will be held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Barbara was born May 15, 1942 in Spokane, WA the daughter of Raymond and Esther Kellmer. She married Donald Eddie Toney.Barbara was a help and partner in her husband's gospel ministry. She enjoyed working with the small children in her early years, as well as, playing the piano and organ.  Barbara worked for US West, Quest and CenturyLink. In the 1970s she had a brain bleed that hindered some of that activity. She had a large brain tumor in the year 2000 that also affected her work.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Donald Eddie Toney, children, Deborah Ann Wiseman, Sharon Denise Schwartz and David Earl Toney; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Charlotte Munn. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Edward Toney and four brothers and one sister.
