Anne Ballew, 49, a devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend departed this world on June 21, 2023, at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will forever resonate in our hearts.

Anne was born on July 12, 1973, in Griffin, Georgia, to her loving parents, Harold and Brenda (Lee) Ballew.

Throughout her life, Anne was driven by a passionate curiosity and an adventurous spirit. She found joy in collecting antiques, discovering their stories, and appreciating their timeless beauty. Anne had a special affinity for nature and delighted in the sight of hummingbirds, whose delicate presence always brought her a sense of wonder and awe. Her love for swimming with dolphins allowed her to experience a profound connection with these magnificent creatures, leaving an indelible mark on her soul.

Anne's truest treasures in life were her children: Destiny, Bridgette, Kyle, and Blake. Her unwavering love and unwavering dedication to their well-being were the foundation of their family bond. As a grandmother, she showered her grandchildren, Annabelle, Arabelle, Amellia, and Ellias, with affection and joy.
