Angelica Rosa Maldonado, 46, of Des Moines, Iowa, passed away on April 19, 2026, at UnityPoint Health - Iowa Methodist Medical Center.

Angelica was born on July 30, 1979, in New York. She built a life defined by resilience, dedication, and love for her family. She worked as a life insurance agent with Primerica, where her strong work ethic and professionalism were evident to all who knew her. She took pride in presenting herself with confidence, often enjoying dressing in polished, professional attire.

She had a vibrant personality and a variety of passions. Angelica loved styling her own hair, reading books, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. She found comfort and enjoyment in rewatching her favorite films, especially the Rocky series, with Rocky III and Rocky IV holding a special place in her heart.

Above all, Angelica was a devoted mother. She did everything she could to provide for and raise her beloved daughter, facing life's challenges with determination and without excuses. Her strength, perseverance, and unconditional love leave a lasting legacy.

She is survived by her daughter, Angelica Garcia-Maldonado.
